| General Overview | Lina is what you could call a cheerful soul as she always seems to be optimistic and in a jovial mood. Sometimes this is also used by her to mask her real feelings or the feeling that she might not be good enough for the job she is doing. If someone knows her well enough, he/she will probably be able to notice. Although she has been she able to handle things competently in even the most stressful situations which brought her an early promotion to Lieutenant Junior Grade, she is not overly self-confident. She is a good sport and a witty person and she did not have problems finding friends as she is quite sociable. However, she has only a few very good friends. She passed Starfleet Academy as one of the best in her field of expertise without having to spend too much time studying and revising things. Lina is definitely no good diplomat as she is not really able to hide her real emotions. She also speaks her mind openly and normally makes no bones about things she does not approve of. But even if you might have an argument with her, she normally is not resentful. Lina is curious which brought her to Starfleet, some might also call her nosey, but she would definitely deny that. |

| Personal History | Lina grew up in Scandinavia on Earth and had a nice, lightsome childhood. Her parents were very understanding. From childhood days on, Lina liked to dismantle things and screw them together again. She also liked physics - as her father was an astronomical physician. Both parents were very happy as she informed them of the idea to join Starfleet. In the Academy, she had an easy time learning and also spent her time socialising with fellow students. She really enjoyed that time there. After graduation, she was transferred to the USS Calypso as an Engineer and proved herself to be capable of dealing with a stressful situation as the ship had been severely damaged by an ion storm and she helped to fix the ship in a way it could last until it was towed home to a starbase. Because of that she was promoted to Lt JG and was made Asst. Chief Engineer. |
