| Personal History | Dean Winchester was born on July 4, 2358 to Frank and Maria Winchester. David grew up in Portsmouth, Ohio, Earth. He had many siblings and other family he grew up with. His father was a Chief Engineering Officer aboard the U.S.S. Seawolf and his mother was the Commanding Officer of the U.S.S. Maverick. Dean had a fulfilling life aboard the Valor with his mother. He rarely got to see his father due to the fact he was posted on a different ship. When he grew older he made the decision he wanted to join Starfleet Marine Corps, his mother supported his decision but his father disapproved of his decision. In 2376 when David turned 18 he left his mother’s ship and traveled back to Earth to enroll in Starfleet Academy. Dean was accepted and he worked hard during his years at the Academy. In 2383 Dean Graduated at the top of his class, but after graduation he found out that his parents were killed in action which had upset him as him and his father were not on talking terms due to his decision to join the Marines. Shortly after graduation he was assigned to the U.S.S. Venom as a Marine with the rank of Second Lieutenant. He worked hard while aboard where he got into a fight with a Klingon and got a scar that went down the left side of his face. In 2382 Dean was then assigned to the U.S.S Richards as a Marine with the rank of First Lieutenant, he worked up in rank and position when he was promoted to the rank of Marine Captain and became the Marine Detachment’s Executive Officer after an accident that killed the previous XO. Dean eventually switched to Fleet, and specialized in Security. He currently awaiting his first posting as a Starfleet Officer, not a Marine. |
