| Personal History | Jarith was born of Betazoid parents on the planet Betazed. His father was a doctor serving in Starfleet and his mother a writer of childrens' books. His sister, also named Adella, was born a year later. They grew up on Betazed where life was wonderful until the Dominion War when the planet was under siege. He was a young man by then. He was protective of his family while hisfather was away fighting in the war. He was a teenager when he discovered he was gay. His parents were accepting of this and encouraged him to explore his sexuality. His mother was a little disappointed when her children both decided to follow in their father's footsteps and join Starfleet, Jarith as a Counselor and Adellla as an Engineer. Jarith's meeting with Jarveth Adan would effect him for a long time. Six days of bliss to be followed by a tragic death. |
